A complete water play gallery at Explorers — Mirdif, Dubai

The brief

The client wanted a signature water play zone inside Explorers, a family entertainment venue in Mirdif — an area that could hold the attention of toddlers and older children alike, handle continuous daily traffic, and feel like a single designed world rather than a collection of separate exhibits.

What we built

We designed a connected landscape of giant interactive water tables, custom-shaped to the floor plan and linked by an overhead ball transport track that carries play from one basin to the next. Stations include water wheels, Archimedes screws, dams and gates, ball launchers and vortex stations, alongside a magnetic water wall where visitors build their own waterways. Every element runs on closed recirculation systems with filtration, engineered for the venue's high daily throughput.

The result

The water zone opened as one of the venue's anchor attractions — a bright, social space where dozens of children play at once, and where the play flows naturally from station to station. Durable materials, easy-clean surfaces and managed splash zones keep daily operations simple for the venue team.
